Beowulf Kingsley's CD "Arphus Schmarphus Horkus Porkus" has been playing on Radio Six out of Scotland! This station has affiliate stations all over Europe, South America and New Zealand...it's really quite amazing...check out Beowulf's blog to see the extent of their range. Also, it's been in steady rotation on the Starship Overflow, a great radio show out of England that has its roots in the original 60's pirate station Radio Caroline. It's a very cool show, syndicated on several stations, and a great honor to be on it with so many other prestigious musicians! They've got a fun website too.
Another related bit of news is that Reptile House Records has been picked up as a subsituary of Stone Island Records, a new label in England. Actually it's connected to our alliance with Stone Premonitions, the fantastic legendary underground label that's been putting out amazing psychedelic music for over 20 years. It's great to be connected to such talented people! This won't change anything here, you can still order your music through us and our friends at CD Baby, but it increases our coverage overseas and should be a web presence that will be giving people world wide more access to great music (and hey, we're part of it!). The new Beowulf Kingsley CD is here and ready for your listening pleasure! There are free tunes at Beowulf's site Here and art and info as well! I'm thinking it's turned out quite nicely indeed. Available at CD Baby, and soon through ITunes and all other major digital download sites as well. Huge thanks to all our friends who played on it and helped make it happen (Madcat Ruth, Billy Mack, Danny Pratt, Charlie Murphy and Mark Boone all did an amazing job), to Jeff Westover for his phantasmagorial artwork, and Chris Gooseman whose golden ears and Mastering skills blew my mind again! It's looking and sounding great, and initial critical reports have been very favorable. Don't you be no fool, go and check it out.
